Excerpt: Bound for Trouble

Alison's Tyler's Bound for Trouble. See what I did there? No, ok, well then... This Cleis Press antho is a celebration of bondage in all its variety. My story's called Doing It By the Book, and I promise you that things do get better for the couple involved...

I felt a bit silly, to be honest. It was a ridiculous position to be in. I’d expected the usual, spread-eagled on the bed with wrists and ankles tied to the corners. But Rob had read fast. I’d got him the book for his birthday, a bit of naughty amongst the sensible stuff he could show the family. Get Your Kink On: A Beginner’s Guide. We weren’t exactly beginners, but all my hints at doing something more adventurous had gone unheeded. But a guidebook, now that he could relate to. He’s a techie. Instruction manuals are bedtime reading.

But my initial thrill when I’d realized I was finally getting something different was wearing off. My ankle cuffs were tied to the top bar of the headboard, pulling my legs up in the air over my head. Wrists were, as usual, tethered to the corners of the bed. My pussy was utterly exposed and it should have been the fulfillment of my long-held fantasies. But all I could think about was the way the position squashed all my flab up under my thighs and gave me triple chins. The muscles behind my knees were starting to ache.

“The position allows the Dominant to perform oral sex, or, should the submissive require chastisement, to administer punishment to the buttocks and thighs with the hand or an implement.”

Oh God, he was actually reading from the text. And although the book was full of good ideas, it managed to convey them in a dry manner more appropriate to a computer programming manual. Rob was reading from Chapter Two: Basic Bondage for Sex and Dominance. The fancy stuff came in Chapter Three: Bondage for Decoration and Art. I knew. I’d already speed-read the book, careful not to bend the pages back, before wrapping it for him.

“The Dominant may also be able to perform intercourse, either vaginal or anal, although this requires a high degree of upper leg strength.”

“Honey, perhaps I should admit that I’ve already read it,” I said it. “So you don’t need to say it all out loud.”

“Oh sorry,” he said. “I wasn’t reading it to you, I’m just making sure I cover everything. I won’t be performing anal intercourse though so don’t worry about that.” He carried on the muttered monotone, “The position does, however, inhibit access to the submissive’s mouth.”

Oh Rob, I’m not worried, I said to myself.

Out now... Bound for Trouble

Look what else sneaked out last week while I was away: Bound for Trouble, edited by Alison Tyler and published by Cleis Press. It contains my story, Doing It by the Book.

Here's the blurb:

Bound for Trouble serves up every kinkster’s dream. Alison Tyler, queen of flogging fiction, has taken exquisite pains to collect the very best BDSM stories for your reading pleasure, with each tale focusing on a different facet of the bondage theme. The players in this spellbinding collection will send shivers down your spine, whether they use cuffs, just words, rope or even paper chains! Are you hooked yet? Teresa Noelle Roberts shows how a chest harness and an oh-so-carefully knotted rope corset can induce the hypnotic bliss of “Ropenosis.” Daddy’s little girl has a really good time with “Sex Party Magic” and puts on quite a show for the onlookers in Kristy Lin Billuni’s tale. D. L. King’s “My Pretty Pony” involves power play, imagination and a pair of very kinky boots. There are male subs, femme dommes and switches of every stripe in between. Just for you.

Incidentally, Cleis Press are celebrating their 34th anniversary of publishing with a Summer of Love giveaway. Buy two of their books get a third free.

I think I owe you at least three excerpts now. Coming soon!

You can buy Bound for Trouble from Amazon US and Amazon UK.

Big Book of Submission news

It's nearly time... for The Big Book of Submission: 69 Kinky Tales. This Cleis Press offering, edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel, is out next month and is already getting some fab reviews. Check out the book's Tumblr page for links to those, along with news, dates of readings, excerpts and pre-order information. It has one hell of a line-up of authors, with fellow Brits including Kay Jaybee, Lucy Felthouse and Nicole Gestalt

Here are two little extracts from my stories in the book. Check out this post for a taste of all 69.

Training My Dom

So there we were, isolated in the middle of nowhere. Where no one could hear me scream, as he put it. I was standing naked on a hard slate floor beneath the mezzanine bedroom, arms high up my back in a box tie, rope wrapping them tight against my torso. More rope strung up from there to the bars of the balcony above, pulling me onto my toes. Ball gag, silk blindfold and silver bar nipple clamps screwed tight—and then screwed some more.

Toasted Marshmallows

I stare at my best friend’s cock. I’ve never seen it before. But from this position—on my knees—I’m getting a close-up view. It’s around the same erect length as my own, but a little thicker. Its head is darker.

“I said, suck it.” Karen repeats the order. She doesn’t like having to repeat an order and I don’t like letting her down. I stick my tongue out, shape it around Nathan’s head and guide it into my mouth. I’d use my hands, but she’s cuffed them behind me—and linked them to my ankle restraints for good measure.

Dungeon Crawl: The Women Who Love to Love Gay Romance

Welcome to this week's Dungeon Crawl and to an excerpt from a story that was a whole lot of fun to write. I don't know what Ryan Field was imagining when he made this call:

I decided to see what would happen if the women who love to love gay romance were allowed to forget about everything, with abandon, and just write what they want with absolute freedom.

Cos, what with my romance gene being faulty and all, my first thought was what it would be like to walk onto the set of Bound Gods... (did I say that out loud?)

Anyway, open a window because you're going to need some fresh air in about five-hundred words' time. Vicky has just returned early from a lukewarm date to find that her flatmate and his boyfriend have been inspired by a site she accidentally left open on her computer...

I hear the TV straight away as I unlock the door. At least, I think it’s the TV when I first hear voices through speakers. “Hi guys, I’m home.” They’re still on the sofa, but all my fantasies have not adequately prepared me for what I see. Not when it’s right there, right in front of me on my antique burgundy leather couch. They’re both butt naked. But that’s a minor consideration. Will is lying across Jake’s lap face down, his ass raised on the top of Jake’s thighs.
They freeze as I come into the room, but they don’t jump up and start making excuses. Which is probably because Will is in no fit state to jump anywhere. Not with his wrists and ankles bound with two of my silk scarves. My laptop is open on the coffee table, the film I watched earlier playing quietly in the background. Not the TV. That’s blank, reflecting Jake and Will’s positions back to me even as I try to do the decent thing and look away. Will’s got a knotted tea towel tied in his mouth and a little voice at the back of my mind says, “He’d better not be drooling on my antique burgundy leather couch.”
“Fuck. Vicky. We weren’t expecting you home so early. What happened to Mike?”
“I was tired,” I stutter, telling them the same lie I told Mr Nice. “I’m sorry. I should have let you know I was coming back so soon.”
“Well, no. It’s your apartment.”
He’s not as embarrassed as he should be. I know we’re open about my vibrator and his wanking, but why is he not redder in the face, why is he not flustered and stammering like I am? Because he knows what I’ve been watching on my laptop. It’s right there playing back to me now, those two delightfully submissive guys.
“Oh sorry about that. I borrowed your laptop to look something up. But you hadn’t closed your browser. That’s kind of what set us off. We were planning a quiet night watching the football.”
I’m still standing in the doorway and I’m just thinking, “Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God,” over and over again. In fact, I realize I’m saying it out loud. “Oh my God. It’s. I don’t know. I just. Oh my God.”
“It’s okay Vickster. What’s not to like? Two hot men, tied up and at your disposal. I can totally see why you’d be looking at that when you should be working.” He winks.
I glance at Will’s face. And I laugh, albeit a little hysterically, at the thought that he has by far the easiest role in this little scenario. He’s looking quite calm, tied hands resting against the small of his back, ankles on the armrest so his feet dangle over the edge. His face looks barely flushed. Unlike his ass, which is bright red from where Jake has been hitting it with the wooden spoon he is still holding in his left hand.
“Do you want a go?” He holds the spoon towards me.

Dungeon Crawl - Penelope's Suitors

Publishers like to categorise. Perhaps readers like it too. I mean, 'BDSM' has to be your first requirement. After that, you know where you are if you opt for a bit of femdom or male dom, if you're going for f/m, f/f or m/m. Or maybe you don't because you're like me and you're searching for some indefinable something, some essence of kink that defies categories. I'm awkward like that. Anyway, welcome to this week's Dungeon Crawl, brought to you by Romancing the Kink, and to an excerpt from the third and final story in my little collection, Miranda's Tempest

It imagines what life is like for Penelope in the long years of her husband Odysseus' absence, while 108 suitors lord it up in her household, each trying to persuade her that her husband is dead and she should marry him instead. Yes, we're talking Homer. Ancient Greece. And the statue of a goddess that comes to life, and some lesbian menage, and some voyeurism, and some feminisation, and some prostate milking, and some loom bondage. All those things. Don't forget to check out the other authors in this week's crawl, but without further ado, here's a little something to tease:

‘Though I love my maids, I have also missed my husband and welcome his safe return home. He is the only man I will ever share my bed with. For you, I can offer something you may think little better than slavery, but it will allow you to serve me in a far more personal manner than a kitchen boy.’ I am almost ashamed of the way I toyed with this earnest youth as he knelt at my feet. But I think he enjoyed it. His mouth was open and his breath audible. ‘Should you pass the test, I would have you become one of my personal servants. Join my maids in keeping me from loneliness when my husband is absent, which he no doubt will be again. You will have to hide your masculinity: shave your body, wear women’s garments and control your cock. In return, you will get to serve me as my maids do and bring me pleasure. Do you accept?’
‘Yes my lady. Willingly.’
‘Then it is time to administer the test. The other suitors were told that if they passed once they would undergo this treatment each night until my weaving was finished. As you can see, my cloth is barely begun, but I tire of it already. And there is no longer a need for this trickery. I will not make it a condition for you. But I will repeat the test when it amuses me to. Now remove your robe and stand facing my loom.’
Leontes rose and did as he was bidden, turning his lean back to me and my companions. The loom’s large, upright frame was fixed to the wall with batons to allow room for the bar of the heddle to move, separating the warp threads for me to weave between them. The thicker yarn I had spun to secure each suitor now hung permanently from the frame. I told Leontes to raise his arms and fastened his wrists wide apart above his head. I had him open his legs and stooped to tie his ankles to the lower corners. His torso tautened and his cock rose, parting the warp threads. The horizontal heddle pressed into his upper thighs, raising his rear. He was so much calmer than the others, though his breathing had quickened. His response seemed one of arousal rather than the consternation the others had shown.
‘Are you ready?’ I asked.
‘Yes, my lady,’ he whispered, turning glossy eyes towards me over his shoulder.
I dipped my hand into a bowl of oil and rubbed it between my fingers and over my knuckles. I pressed my fingertips to the top of Leontes’ crack and allowed him a moment to become accustomed to my touch.

Dungeon Crawl - Karada!

Hello and welcome back to my corner of the Romancing the Kink Dungeon Crawl blog hop. This week, I'm turning my attention to Best Bondage Erotica 2014, edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel and published by Cleis Press. Whatever your taste in bondage, there's something here for everyone. My story, Tight Rope Walker, involves a Sunday stroll in the English countryside. Spiffing. Oh, and a quantity of rope.

“Why don’t you tie me into a harness I can hide under my clothes while we go out for a walk?” I’d said to him earlier that week, fed up of waiting for grey January skies to clear and the warmth of the sun to return. “You could even put on my collar and cuffs. If I wear a scarf and gloves no-one will see a thing. But it will make me horny as hell all the time we’re walking. And then it will be there, ready, when we get home again.”
Me and my big ideas. “Hmm, sounds like a plan,” he’d said. “Forecast’s dry for the weekend. We should do it on Sunday. We’re going to my mother’s for dinner Saturday, remember?”
I remembered. It felt like a very long evening of nodding in the right places and laughing and saying, “oh yes, I know what you mean,” rather than “oh just shut up so I can fantasize about rope.”
We’d got up late and had a big cooked breakfast, as befits a lazy Sunday morning. Then, around noon, Jake said to me, “Pajamas off. Time for our walk.” God, I’d thought that moment would never come and was out of my PJs in seconds and standing, waiting, in the middle of the living room rug.
He put the collar around my neck first, as always. My collar. One-inch thick leather that buckled into place. No lock, because I would never dream of attempting to remove it myself. But it did have four D-rings placed around it to cater for all eventualities. He put similar leather cuffs on my wrists, then my ankles. These ones had simple karabiner-type clips to attach them to each other. If I was feeling brattish, I could escape them. Not easily but it wasn’t impossible. That’s why Jake always used rope if he wanted me properly helpless.
Anyway, he moved on to the karada next. It had its usual effect on me, making my pussy pulse and my knees weak from the moment I felt the rope draped down the front of my body. As Jake pulled each wrap through the vertical strands, the vibrations went straight to my clit. I rocked my hips, smiling at the utterly delicious pressure there. He was careful not to tie it too tight. Once he’d done I put on my walking outfit, all sensible shower-proof fabrics, sturdy shoes with big grips and my winter woolens – hat, scarf, gloves. No panties though. And I pulled on a sporty crop top instead of trying to do up a bra strap over the ropes around my ribcage. As I moved around the house, up and down stairs and from room to room, I felt the harness hug my pussy snugly and imagined it doing so on our walk.

Dungeon Crawl!

Hello and welcome to my little corner of the Dungeon Crawl blog hop!

I'm bringing you an excerpt from my story 'The Guerilla's Plaything' in the anthology Snatched, out now from Storm Moon Press, Amazon and Amazon UK.

Our main character Thomas has been kidnapped while on holiday in the Amazon rainforest, but finds that his harsh treatment at the hands of the slightly bonkers Alvaro reminds him a little too vividly of his BDSM relationship with his partner John:

Alvaro told me to lie down on the groundsheet while he brandished a bundle of the jute rope. “Turn over,” he said. I didn’t question or argue. I rolled onto my front and let him pull my wrists to the small of my back where he bound them, securely but carefully so that nothing pressed on the vulnerable insides of my wrists to cut off my circulation. My throat tightened. I could feel every particle of the gritty sand that lay on the groundsheet against my cheek.

Alvaro bound my ankles in the same way, wrapping the rope carefully so it wasn’t overlapping. I realized I had semi-consciously pressed my toes into the ground to raise my lower legs and make it easier for him. Then he tied my wrists and ankles together, pulling my feet up. Not as tight as John would have done it when he wanted me in the strictest of hogties. Just enough to stop me straightening my legs or being able to struggle to my feet.

“You are so predictable,” Alvaro said, kneeling at my side and leaning toward my face. “A bit of rope, and you are panting. I wouldn’t be surprised if your cock starts to dribble a little bit.” He grabbed a handful of my hair and yanked my head off the ground, stretching my throat out and making my mouth fall open wider. With the other hand, he took hold of my jaw firmly and turned my face toward him. I struggled to swallow. My rigid cock was trapped beneath me, throbbing against the open zipper. Alvaro leaned down, opened his mouth and pressed his lips to mine, flicking his tongue inside. His stubble rasped against the one-day growth on my chin. As he pulled away, I strained to reach his mouth again, but he kept his grasp tight around my jaw.

He whispered close to my face, “I let you into a secret. I am planning on escaping this camp myself tonight. Once a person has joined the Movement, they are never allowed to leave. But I have to get out. I will take you with me.”

This threw me. Was it another cruel trick? “Why would you do that?” I asked.

“Because I like you,” he said. “Your reaction to being kidnapped and bound has amused me greatly. It brings me great joy to see an attractive man who loves to be tied and teased. Your partner is a very lucky man. I want to make sure you get back to him in one piece.”

Cleis Press loveliness

It's looking like a kinky year with Cleis Press for me. Best Bondage Erotica 2014 has just come out and I have a few more stories on the way in other anthologies. So I thought I'd share some sweet little covers (and by 'sweet' I mean... well, you know me by now).

Bear with me while I engage in pure self-indulgence, a 'look at me, look at all these pretty books I'm in' moment. Because most of these are not yet available, but they are pretty books. I have to stay quiet about many of the covers I see on erotica and erotic romance offerings because my comments might not come across well online. (But if you want to see a nicely balanced view, check out Janine Ashbless's blog post about covers). But Cleis covers hit the spot for me. Sometimes they're subtle, sometimes they're brash, but always they look professional, appropriate to the content and, well, hot.

Rope and the great British countryside

I can't wait for my author copy of Best Bondage Erotica 2014 to arrive. I've been reading about all the stories on the book's Tumblr site, where authors are talking about their inspiration and sharing their favourite lines from their stories. And every single one sounds hot as caramelised sugar (and I should know, having suffered a popcorn-related injury recently).

My story is called Tight Rope Walker and it focuses on two things: a karada tie and a walk up a hill. At the time I was planning the story, I happened upon this blog post by Fulani, which is a practical guide to tying a karada and proved to be most useful for research purposes. Most useful indeed. (And I've just realised he follows the word with an exclamation mark in the title, thus: Karada! That's how it always appears in my mind, like Oklahoma! for some reason.)

Obviously, the anthology is about bondage. But there are just so many avenues you can go down to write a bondage story. Different styles, different purposes, different equipment, different relationships, different levels of experience, different mindsets... The funny thing is that you can't just write a description of ropes and knots and the process of tying. My story takes the idea of this quite elaborate tie, which creates a sort of rope corset, and then takes it out for a walk.

One of my new year's resolutions as a writer is: Write less, walk more. I find many things - writer's block, backache, general grumpiness, existential angst - can be solved by going for a walk, preferably somewhere with a few trees or rocks or a bit of water. My characters take a walk up the Wrekin, a hill in Shropshire, England, with the karada, hidden under winter layers, being their delicious little secret.

Best Bondage Erotica 2014, edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel and published by Cleis Press, is now out in paperback and ebook at Amazon, or for pre-order at Amazon.co.uk.

And for writers, Rachel also has a new submissions call for Best Bondage Erotica 2015.

Out now: Best Bondage Erotica 2014

New year, new release! Best Bondage Erotica 2014, edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel, is out now at Amazon.com. For co.uk-ers it's slated for publication in March.

It's a collection of 21 stories from authors both well-known and new, exploring the theme in a variety of tantalising ways. It's currently available as a real, kissable paperback. And as it’s published by Cleis it has this rather lovely cover.

Here's the blurb:

Rachel Kramer Bussel ties her readers up in knots each year as they anticipate the very best BDSM stories of the year. And, she does not disappoint, defying the odds, and occasionally gravity, with tales of bondage at its best. These whip-smart tales of domination, submission, spanking, and other highly imaginative acts keep readers in a frenzy. Best Bondage Erotica 2014 features 21 hot bondage tales that titillate from the bedroom to the dungeon and beyond. Handpicked by best-selling erotica editor Bussel, these kinky stories show and tell exactly what it means to wield the special power of being in charge of someone else. These characters manipulate rope, handcuffs, leather straps, a St. Andrew's cross, a chair, and, in Raziel Moore's "My Own Device," a special contraption crafted just for bondage, with the ultimate aim of pleasing each partner. Here, bondage takes place behind secret doors, at sex parties, at the office, on a mountain hike, and, of course, at home.

I’ll talk more about karadas and my story, 'Tight Rope Walker' (the mountain hike one), very soon.

There is much more info, including author interviews on the BBE2014 Tumblr page.

Buy at Amazon.com or Cleis, or pre-order at Amazon.co.uk.

Pretty picture

Seems I'm all about the pictures lately. You might call it lazy, and I wouldn't be offended, but I'm going to call it that pesky thing known as real life.

I've only recently started to explore Tumblr. I know, I'm decades behind the times. But this is my favourite picture so far. It's by Creative Intoxication on Deviant Art.

Teaser time

Here's a little taste of my story in The Women Who Love to Love Gay Romance. Vicky has been out on a date, but all she can think about is her flatmate and his boyfriend, who are spending a rare quiet night in together at her place. She ends the date early and rushes home, hoping to catch them cuddling on the sofa... or maybe even listen in to them in the bedroom. But what she finds is much more than that and has been inspired by something the guys found lurking on her laptop after she failed to shut it down properly...

They’re both buck naked. But that’s a minor consideration. Will is lying across Jake’s lap face down, his ass raised on the top of Jake’s thighs.
They freeze as I come into the room, but they don’t jump up and start making excuses, which is probably because Will is in no fit state to jump anywhere.
“Fuck. Vicky. We weren’t expecting you home so early.”

On having double standards

I've realised I have double standards in my reading. I'm absolutely guilty of hating things in one book that I will tolerate or even love in another. Dangerous BDSM being one of those things. In some books, I start to read about casual hook-ups engaging in bondage 'n stuff and think "oh how stupid, you couldn't do that in real life, recipe for disaster and it's giving kink a bad name." And then I'll read something similar in another book and think "ooh that's a bit risque, but it's fiction, it's all just fantasy and it's hot and I'm going to devour this book in one sitting." Standard romance storylines are another example. Sometimes I fling my kindle down in exasperation (literally; I can be melodramatic) because I find a story formulaic and unbelievable; other times I'll set those misgivings aside because something about the story gets me hooked.

So I admit it, I'm a hypocrite. But it makes me think about what it is that makes me able to accept it in some books and not in others. Partly it's about suspension of disbelief, the quality of writing that draws you in and convinces you that something fantastical could be real. And I think that's created by the quirky little details that stop characters and settings being cardboard cutouts. And partly I think it's about knowing what you're writing, realising what you're doing when you write the fantasy stuff that's not realistic and certainly not a how-to guide for novice kinksters.

All of this reminds me of a post by Violet Fenn over at Kay Jaybee's place in which she puts erotica writers in two camps - insiders and outsiders. Insiders who write it because they live it, it's their world and they want to see that portrayed in fiction. And outsiders who are writing for the excitement of what is to them still a forbidden thrill, as well as the, probably misguided, thought that it's where there's a fortune to be made. It's an interesting way to look at things and brings some insights, although as with any attempt to categorise people it's going to have its shortcomings.

I tend to assume that everyone's going to have at least messed about with a pair of handcuffs at some point, forgetting that actually getting in touch with your kinky side, if you have one (are there people who don't?!?), is a journey people might make at different points in their lives, if at all. But I think that if you haven't ever judged a bed on its anchor points and you suddenly decide to write bondage stories, it's going to show (and you won't make a fortune anyway.) And those are the stories that exasperate me instead of seducing me.

Review: Banging Rebecca by Alison Tyler

Ok, so this story starts out quite standard. The old fantasy of the guy in the band actually noticing the girl who fancies him and them getting it on in an alleyway. From there they move quickly on to satisfyingly kinky sex at his place. And of course, their kinks happen to be perfectly compatible and they understand each other without having to have what I like to call 'The Talk'. It's tightly written, with some well-chosen background details of the Los Angeles night. And it's just fantasy-land enough for me to think, 'well, this isn't very safe, but hey, it's not real.' And it's just realistic enough for me to... well let's say, read on, and leave the rest to the imagination.

So far, so nicely escapist. In an inescapable bondage-y kind of way. Reminds me of the teenage crush I have on the singer from Biffy Clyro; the video for their single The Captain doesn't help - there's rope and flogging and a sort of cage thing below decks on a ship. But I digress.

Tyler then ups the ante in a scene with a cane. You've got the old 'sub has to count the blows' theme. Well, Tyler reverses the order. Sub counts, then Dom hits. This messed with my head. It's just so different from the standard way of doing things. It's a pretty simple switch, really, but massively effective. It's the sort of thing that, as a writer, you wish you'd thought of already. And as a reader, putting yourself in the heroine's shoes - by which I mean cuffs - it's damn hot.

So, you've been surprised once as you get right into Rebecca's head while this is going on. And the writing helps you get right there, deep into how she's feeling and what she's thinking. But then things ramp up a gear again. You see, it's the drummer of the band Rebecca's been playing with so far. But there's a singer too, you know. A singer she has a little fling with too. And when the two guys find out... What happens next? I don't want to spoil it. What happens next is very much in keeping with the escapism of the story, riding the edge of believability but just about pulling it off. What happens next surprised me - and believe me, my filthy imagination knows few boundaries. What happens next was off-the-scale hot, unexpected in all the right ways.

Banging Rebecca's a short read; I got through it in the bath. I'm sure there are other activities you could do in the same time frame that don't require the use of both hands. But don't be fooled by the opening into thinking it's just another formulaic casual hook-up story with a bit of dodgy kink thrown in. It's so much more than that. And then some.

I bought Banging Rebecca at Amazon UK.

Story news

I think I'm finally safe to reveal that I have a couple of stories coming out in Cleis Press anthologies over the coming months. I have one called Tight Rope Walker in Best Bondage Erotica 2014 edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel. And another of my alter egos, James McArthur, has got one in there called No Strings Attached.

I'm excited by the cover, which is saying something. With many erotica and romance covers I have to bite my tongue and silently repeat to myself the words: "I must not bitch." Then I go over to the Bad Romance Covers blog for a giggle. But this cover - and, I'm now realising, Cleis' covers in general - does it for me. I also have one or two coming out in Alison Tyler's anthologies. My tale, Kneading Lessons, features a hot baker in the collection Shhh! Don't Tell Anyone... Erotic Fantasies about Sexy Occupations. And since I've just posted the contract I guess I can also tell you I have one called Doing It by the Book in Bound for Trouble. So expect more book release excitement from me soon.
